VLF AC Hipot Testers : It is well known that DC testing of aged extruded cable such as XLPE and EPR is potentially damaging to the cable insulation causing premature failure of the cable under service conditions.
In addition, DC “proof” or hipot testing has been found to be ineffective in detecting even serious defects in cables. Since this is the main objective of any hipot test, and due to the negative side effects of DC, VLF wave form testing is now recommended by almost all cable testing standards/guides such as IEEE, CENELEC, VDE, SABS etc. Acceptance or maintenance hipot/proof testing using VLF high voltage sinusoidal AC allows the operator to efficiently detect serious cable insulation defects, before they result in an in-service failure, without affecting those healthy sections of the cable that still have remaining service life.

Model ‘CBA-81’ is a latest state of the art micro-processor based analyzer for circuit breaker analysis. This can test all types of SF6 breakers, GIS switchgear, vacuum switches and oil breakers with metal contacts.
CBA-81 has universal speed sensor, linear travel sensor and rotation sensor, thus making installation and use very simple and convenient.
CBA-81 has a large liquid crystal screen for display. Menu in English gives prompts for carrying out the test operation. The CPU has large memory and stores several sets of ‘switch off’ and ‘switch on’ test results. A real-time clock is provided to file and record the date and specific time of test.
A built-in micro-printer of fast speed can print all the data and illustrations. For computerization, the ‘CBA-81’ has software for connection to a PC to save results in hard disk directly or to be sent to other printers. ‘CBA-81’ has strong data analysis function to effectively analyze each index and parameters of mechanical characteristics of circuit breakers.
Additionally ‘CBA-81’ also has a ‘USER-DEFINED’ program for speed, enabling the user to define different instantaneous opening speeds and instantaneous closing speeds.

High Voltage Divider
The AC/DC High Voltage Dividers, VD series consists of two main parts which are the digital display meter and the High voltage divider. A high voltage output under calibration or test is connected from the top terminal of the voltage divider. The High Voltage Divider is connected to a digital meter by a provided measuring cable. The setup time is saved in the high voltage divider for accurate measurement and it has an LCD digital display to show the results. Both, the digital meter and the high voltage divider are stored in a transportable single lightweight cabinet made of aluminum with handle. The high voltage divider device has one tester for the alternating type current and another tester for the direct type current.
The measuring range of the device starts from a 50 kilo voltage and up to 100 kilo voltage for the alternating current measurement and the same range is there for the direct current measurement. The weight of this tester ranges from 9.5 Kilograms up to 18.5 Kilograms. The great advantage of this device is the high level of accuracy, so the results shown by this device are reliable for decision making because the inaccuracy error is as low as 1% up to 1.5%.

Introduction:
Udey ASA-603 is used to measure leakage current of Metal Oxide Arrestor (MOA). The main test is resistive current to find out ageing or inside damp of MOA. ASA-603 can be used at site as well as Laboratory test.
Description:
ASA-603 conducts test in two methods:
ASA-603 is easy to operate, accurate readings. The tester works on rechargeable battery, calendar, clock, printer, memory for 100 groups of test data and RS 232 port to transfer stored data to computer.

Transformer Oil Testing
The transformer oil test kit is ensured to measure with high level of accuracy. Since the transformer oils are designed to insulate electrically, they must be periodically tested for stability by using standard testing procedures. The testing of transformer oil works by acquiring the breakdown voltage. The RMS value of the breakdown voltage is reported as a result. This process is very safe. A transparent hood covers the test cell to ensure extended and further operator safety level.
The transformer oil testing kit is of light weight and it is portable, so mobility of the transformer oil test kit is not an issue at all. The testing voltage can be set to anywhere up to 100 Kilo Voltage. The transformer oil test kit comes with an operating manual for guiding users, a 2 meter long main cord, GO and NO GO gauges, in addition to a test cell. Several oils are able to be tested with this specific kit including IS and IEC oils. All of the features of this machine and the transformer oil test kit make the testing of transformer oil practical and ideal.

UDEY CU Series insulating oil testers are market standards since 1960 and several thousand of units are in use around the world. UDEY-FRIVO series AC POWER SOURCES are solid state frequency converters offering the most cost-effective and flexible way of providing dependable and accurate frequency and voltage conversion for low power single-phase applications.
Frequency converters are used to convert existing AC power supply into stable and pure sine wave power supply of required frequency. In UDEY-FRIVO series this is achieved through AC – DC – AC conversion. Microprocessor is used as its heart with SPWM circuits, IGBT module adopting technologies such as ‘digital frequency division, D/A conversion, instantaneous feedback and Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation.
