Motor Purging system is a system designed to flush out hazardous/ contaminated gases from empty spaces inside motor before motor start-up. It can be also used to maintain continuous overpressure inside motor enclosure so that no hazardous gas can enter inside.
Salient features of our Motor Purging System are:
Motor Purge Control System consisting of a Motor Purge Controller – MPC and a Motor Purge Valve – MPV (outlet valve) is a unit allowing a safe operation of electric motors in a hazardous environment.
The explosion protection is ensured by means of a pressurised enclosure with leakage loss compensation. The Motor Purge Control System monitors, controls and regulates the purging gas supply for the Ex p motor.
Any malfunctioning in the system or the purging gas supply will be reported reliably and deactivated by safely isolating the Ex p motor.
Purge and pressurization system is designed specifically for use with large motors or large enclosures in Zone 1 hazardous areas. The 6100 Series can purge an enclosure over 450 ft3 (12.2 m3) and is suited for applications in the chemical, petrochemicals and oil-and-gas industries. The fully automatic system does not require an operator to initiate purging or pressurization. It offers optional temperature sensors that can be mounted around the motor for alarm notification or cooling. Additionally, there is automatic pressure compensation for excess leakage from the motor.
The system consists of a control unit, vent, low pressure sensor and optional temperature sensors. The control unit allows users to configure the system for size of motor, temperature-switch points, pressure-switch points for leakage compensation and shutoff pressure, extra output for control or alarm, two selectable intrinsically safe inputs for various actions, and up to three temperature sensor inputs that can monitor various points within the motor housing. The intrinsically safe user-interface can be mounted in a separate enclosure near an operator for system monitoring.

We supply Low Voltage Power Distribution Boards (PDB), Breaker Panels, Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) Panels, Sub Distribution Panel, MCB DB for different industries.
PDB Panels are used for Electric Power Distribution, Fault Protection and Monitoring of different Electrical Systems. It usually consists of Incomer ACB/MCCB, Switch Fuse Unit (SFU), ELCB, MCCB, MCB etc.
Any Electrical Systems containing Inductive & Capacitive Loads consumes both Active and Reactive Power. APFC Panels are required to improve Power Factor of the entire plant/facility so that Total Power Consumption (Active + Reactive) is minimized. It is usually achieved by means of Capacitor Banks which are switched on & off based on real time Inductive Loads such as Induction Motors. Nowadays APFC Unit has become a necessity as many Power Distribution Companies have started charging penalties in case of Power Factor Drop beyond a limit.
Salient Features of our PDB & APFC panels are:
PDB Panels are used for Electric Power Distribution, Fault Protection and Monitoring of different Electrical Systems. APFC And PDB Panels
Electrical loads such as motors can cause electrical systems to be very inductive, which results in very lagging power factor i.e. wastage of energy. The simple solution to maintain the power factor in required range is to connect or disconnect the power factor correction capacitors. Manual switching is just impossible for rapidly fluctuating loads and hence an automatic control system is required which continuously monitors the power factor and make appropriate corrections to maintain it within the required range.
System Design:
iPOWER Automatic Power Factor Correction System is unique with its Custom Based Design, based on the Load Study Conducted on site with High Speed Power Quality Analyzer with recording interval selected as appropriate to the study, depending on the Loading pattern.

IMCCs are gaining popularity over conventional MCC panels due its added functionalities like Microprocessor based Systems, better Protective Functions, Communication with PLC, DCS & SCADA over Profinet/ Profibus/ Ethernet Networks, Integrated Software etc.
To achieve smoother control, Soft Starters are used where current surge & load are temporarily reduced during start up. Soft Starters are economical choice in cases where torque and speed control is required only during motor starting & stopping.
Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) are useful when accurate control is required throughout motor operation. In VFD, AC Power is converted to DC Power with Rectifiers and again converted to AC Power with Inverters using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Technique. This way, Voltage and Frequency is adjusted to control speed of AC Induction Motor. VFDs are popular in Fan, Pump, Conveyer applications and are also more energy efficient than Soft Starters.
IMCC, Soft Starters & VFDs can be networked on different protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, Modbus, CANopen etc and can be integrated with PLC or DCS . Energy Audit and Optimization is also possible by Monitoring Energy Consumption over these communication protocols.

Motor Control Center (MCC) is a collection of several components to control the motors with various types of starters like DOL (direct on line) starter, S/D starter (star delta starter), Variable frequency drive (VFD) and other control equipment that all function to control the operation of the electric motor and place these components in an integrated panel.
It consists of feeders for motors, blowers and Pumps. Feeders are designed according to the motor rating. In most of the MCCs, auto/manual provision will be there. With manual provision motors can be operated manually. In auto provision external signal is required to start the motor. The signal is given by the control panel. Indicators for the motor operation also will be present in control panel.
IMCC (INTELLIGENT MOTOR CONTROL CENTER) PANEL:iMCC Panel represents the flexible and modular management-system for motors in the low Voltage range which can be easily and directly connected to superior automation system. It covers all functional requirements, including safety-related disconnection of the motor feeder and automation system.

TAN SWA Junction Boxes are typically used in the field for cable termination/re-routing or mounting of instruments , A small metal or plastic junction box may form part of an electrical conduit or thermoplastic-sheathed cable (TPS) wiring system in a building. If designed for surface mounting, it is used mostly in ceilings, under floors or concealed behind an access panel—particularly in domestic or commercial buildings. An appropriate type (such as that shown in the gallery) may be buried in the plaster of a wall (although full concealment is no longer allowed by modern codes and standards) or cast into concrete—with only the cover visible.
It sometimes includes built-in terminals for the joining of wires.
A similar, usually wall mounted, container used mainly to accommodate switches, sockets and the associated connecting wiring is called a pattress.
The term junction box may also be used for a larger item, such as a piece of street furniture. In the UK, such items are often called a cabinet. See Enclosure (electrical).
Junction boxes form an integral part of a circuit protection system where circuit integrity has to be provided, as for emergency lighting or emergency power lines, or the wiring between a nuclear reactor and a control room. In such an installation, the fireproofing around the incoming or outgoing cables must also be extended to cover the junction box to prevent short circuits inside the box during an accidental fire.
We are manufacturer of varieties of Junction Boxes including:Being located in Mumbai, our supplied Panels are working not only in India but also in various countries like Dubai, Qatar, Saudi Arabia KSA, Oman, Kuwait and also in Austria, Germany, USA, Australia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Nigeria, China, South Korea, Bangladesh, Zambia etc.

TAN SWA Purge Panels are the solutions for using electrical/electronic devices in hazardous areas containing flammable gases, conductive dust, corrosive gases & combination of these. In purge panels or pressurized enclosures, positive pressure is maintained inside the enclosure to prevent entry of outside gases in the enclosure. This ensures that the internal devices are protected from hostile & hazardous gases/vapors in atmosphere.
PROTECTION BY PURGING PANELS IS BASED ON FIRE TRIANGLE PRINCIPLEFire can be prevented by removal of any of the following elements in reference to electrical panels
Fuel- Removal of Combustible / Explosive Gases & Fumes by purging
Ignition- 1) Avoiding Ignition Capable Apparatus
2) Cutting off Power to Ignition Capable Apparatus
Oxygen- Preventing Exposure to Atmospheric Air by Jacketing with Neutral Gas
Protection is Achieved
1st Level – Creation of Safe Condition
Instrument quality air is used to pressurize the enclosure. This flushes out any contamination around the internal components. Nitrogen is used in case of fuel fumes.
2nd Level – Maintaining the Safe Condition
The pressure inside panel is maintained at a level higher than atmosphere so that outside gases cannot enter the panel. This ensures safe operation throughout life.
3rd Level – Prevention of Safety Violation
Drop in enclosure pressure generates alarm for corrective action and cuts off power supply to Ignition Capable Apparatus inside the Purge Panel.
Traditionally, Explosion proof/ Flameproof Enclosures are used for safe operation in hazardous area following standard IS/IEC 60079-1 : 2007,Equipment Protection by Flameproof Enclosures “Ex- d” . These enclosures are mostly Die-Cast Aluminium Alloy and hence have practical limitation of size. They are economical for smaller size applications. Also, primary objective of Explosion proof Enclosures is ‘Containment of Explosion’ rather than ‘Prevention of Explosion’.
Purging Panels can overcome these limitations with its specially fabricated IP 66 Enclosures and Pressure Monitoring Mechanism.
They are based on latest standard IS/IEC- 60079-2: 2014, Equipment Protection by Pressurized Enclosure ‘p” Purge Panels are supplied with instrument quality air at sufficient flow and pressure to ensure pressure build up inside the Panel. The Pressures maintained inside the Purge Panel through regulator mechanism along with monitoring and tripping system in case of failure.
