The 7SR210 series of relays provide overcurrent and earth fault protection. These relays are typically applied to provide the main protection on feeders and interconnectors and the back-up protection on items of plant such as transformers, Relays have four current inputs and are housed in E6 or E8 cases.
7SR220 series relays include for directional control of the overcurrent and earth fault functionality and are typically installed where fault current can flow in either direction i.e. on interconnected systems. Relays have five current and four voltage inputs they are housed in E6 or E8 cases.
Integrated logic is provided to allow the optimal configuration of relay functionality with the relays analogue inputs and binary input/output circuits. The optional auto-reclose feature offers an integrated solution for use on OHL feeders.
The relay functionality allows highly flexible settings for current and time grading making it compatible with all types of overcurrent protections.
Protection, instrumentation and metering functionality is accessible via data comms channel(s). A front USB port for local PC connection and rear electrical RS 485 port for remote connection are provided as standard, additional ports are available as options.

The 7SR23 DAD is a numeric high impedance circulating current relay has four current inputs, it is used as a unit protection to detect phase and earth faults.
The relay can be applied to bus bars, connections, transformers, reactors and motors.

The Reyrolle 7SR157 Argus is a combined check and system synchronising relay designed to carry out controlled closing of a circuit breaker using measurements of the line and bus voltages. The relay will prevent closure of the circuit breaker if the differences in phase angle, slip frequency or magnitude of the voltages fall outside prescribed Limits.
If the parameters are within limits, the relay will issue an output which can be used to close the circuit breaker directly or in conjunction with an auto-reclose scheme.
Housed in a 4U high, size E4 case, the relay provides instrumentation and fault data with integrated input and output logic, data logging and fault reports. Communication access to the relay functionality is via a front USB port for local PC connection or rear electrical RS 485 port for remote Connection.

Reyrolle 7SR105 Rho motor protection relay is a numerical protection relay intended for use in the motor protection applications. It provides a highly comprehensive functional software package with a range of integral application functions aimed at reducing installation, wiring, and engineering time.The Reyrolle 7SR105 platform is a compact motor protection relay in a Non draw out case with 6BI/Os, Serial interface, RTD inputs with Current based motor protection algorithms - simplest and comprehensive motor protection relay.The device is housed in a 4U high, size 4 non drawn-out case and these relays provide protection, monitoring, instrumentation, and metering with integrated input and output logic, data logging and fault reports. Communication access to the relay functionality is via a front USB port for local PC connection or rear electrical RS485 port for remote connection.A wide range of measured values can be viewed on the front LCD or remotely via the communications channel. The Reyrolle 7SR158 Argus voltage and frequency relays are numerical, multifunctional devices, with functionality designed for connection to voltage transformers. The voltage and frequency functionality is supplemented by data storage, instrumentation, user configurable logic and data communication features. A menu based user friendly interface provides local access to relay settings, instruments and operational data. The fascia also benefits from 9 user configurable, tri-coloured LEDs and a USB port for PC access.The key functions provided include 27/59 -Under and Over voltage, 81 -Under and Over frequency, 78 -Voltage vector shift and 81R -Rate of change of frequency.Relays have three voltage inputs, six binary inputs and eight binary outputs and are housed in a size E4 case. Programmable logic is provided to allow the optimal configuration of relay functionality. A rear electrical RS485 port is provided for SCADA connection using either IEC60870-5-103, DNP3.0 or MODBUS RTU protocol.

Arc fault protection is a relatively new technique employed for the fast clearance of arcing faults on Busbars & within metal clad switchgear & associated cable boxes. The arc is detected using an optical sensor & the signal input to a protection device which also monitors the load current on the system. Conventional current based protection techniques are at times challenged by the nature of arcing faults, and can result in slow protection clearance times. Slow protection clearance times increase the risk to nearby personnel and increase the degree of damage to plant and equipment. By employing an optical detection technique, Arc Fault Protection results in fast clearance of arcing faults.
When an arc fault start current is coincident with a signal from the optical sensor a trip command is output. An Arc trip only signal can be achieved within 10ms which can be considerably faster than that provided by a traditional IDMT overcurrent relay. This is because the onset of an arcing fault can occur at relatively low fault currents. Arguably the greatest risk of arc fault damage exists at the CB cable termination & in the CB chamber itself due to the slow clearance times of the IDMT feeder protection.

The 7PG23 electro-mechanical single phase circulating current protection is used to detect earth faults in ‘high impedance’ protection schemes. The relay is typically applied used in transformer protection schemes.
One relay per phase can be applied to detect both phase and earth faults e.g. on reactors and stator windings of large machines.
The relay is a voltage operating device and has a user selectable operate voltage setting. The relay can be used in conjunction with an external shunt setting resistor where a higher operate current is required. An integral non-linear resistor limits over-voltages occurring during system faults. Operation flag indicator. Relays are housed in size E3 cases.
